RECKER!NOTES: I read this fic a while back and I lost it. I found it again yesterday and I’m glad I did, I’d been looking for it lately. It’s the best Hawaii Five-0 fic I’ve read. Ever. It’s as if the author somehow got into the character’s skins and wrote out what they’d do or how they’d react to a situation in a way that, even if this story revolves around an alternate universe, it seams pretty damn canon. Like an episode you missed. A kick-ass one. There will be more amazing fics in this fandom, as few of them probably by this author, but this one will always be the fic I can read over and over and over again and never stop effing loving it.

RECKER!NOTES: Amazingly written characters amidst a beautifully written alternate universe. Yes, there’s some drama, but hey, it’s Steve and Danno, wouldn’t be them without some baggage. Love them more for it. Definitely a happy-ending-hand-holding-into-the-sunset-after-ass-kicking fic. Love this.

Read this, READ THIS NOW.
